Provide State support for the establishment or expansion of local sector partnerships by:

• Assisting in the identification of target industry clusters and employers for participation in local sector partnerships

• Providing grants to emerging and existing local sector partnerships

• Creating a Community College Sector Partnership Exploration Grant to help community colleges create or convene a local sector partnership

 

Utilize $15 million in existing federal grant funding from the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act in order to fund the provisions of this act (A.1925, Maher).
